We accept all Private Health Funds.
Cancellation policy
You will receive an SMS to confirm your appointment 2 days before it is scheduled and another reminder the day before.
If you book your initial appointment online, please ensure your phone number and email address are accurate. Appointments not confirmed within 24 hours will be canceled and offered to a patient on our waiting list.
We often have a waitlist, and missed appointments prevent us from assisting other patients in need. If you’re unable to attend or no longer require your appointment, please call us to cancel or reschedule.
Like many small businesses, our practice faces significant running costs, including for missed appointments. As a result, a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment may apply for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, except in exceptional circumstances.

medicare (care plan)
If you have a GP’s care plan and referral, we bulk bill some services on your referral - no out-of-pocket or gap fee. Some services will require a gap fee.
Paperwork
You must have a valid GPCCMP (GP Chronic Condition Management Plan) referral for chiropractic services.
Referrals need to be emailed to us via reception@moorookachiropractic.com.au prior to your appointment.
If Medicare declines the claim, a standard/concession fee will be applied for your appointment.
Every eligible individual can have 5 sessions across allied health services per calendar year.
FEES WITH A CARE PLAN
The below appointment types will be bulkbilled
- Initial Chiropractic Consultation
- Report of Findings Chiropractic Consultation
- Standard Chiropractic Consultation
There will be a gap fee for extended consultations:
$21 for standard patients and $20 for concession card holders.
- Long Chiropractic Consultation (30 minutes)
- Chiropractic and Dry Needling Consultation (30 minutes)
- Chiropractic and Cold Laser Consultation (30 minutes)
- Chiropractic and Acupuncture Consultation (45 minutes) - Dr Sam only
The gap fees are not claimable through private health.
dva and workcover
- We accept DVA and WorkCover patients, given that you have a GP’s referral and approved paperwork.
- The treating condition must be the approved condition on your paperwork.
- All GP's paperwork and referrals and paperwork need to be emailed to us via reception@moorookachiropractic.com.au prior to your appointment.
- If DVA or WorkCover declines the claim, a standard/concession fee will be applied for your appointment.
